Jewsand Everyone Else: Navigating Jewish Identity in a non-Jewish World

In this engaging Hadar Beit Midrash series we will examine the complex ways, whether religious, social, cultural or political, Jews have and continue to negotiate living in a non-Jewish world.

This week's class is entitled, "Nations on Parade: A Rabbinic Picture of the End of Days," and it will be taught by Andrea Wershof Schwartz.

In this session we will explore the opening of Tractate Avodah Zarah, in which the Rabbis attempt to answer the question of how the Jews and the other nations will be judged at the end of time. Which mitzvot will matter? Which accomplishments will count?
