Jewsand Everyone Else: Navigating Jewish Identity in a non-Jewish World

In this engaging Hadar Beit Midrash series we will examine the complex ways, whether religious, social, cultural or political, Jews have and continue to negotiate living in a non-Jewish world.

This week's class is entitled, "To Whom Are We Obligated?," and it will be taught by Lisa Exler.

Rabbinic literature contains contradictory statements about our obligation to provide for non-Jews.  This class will explore the complex relationship of Jews and non-Jews in the context of tzedakah.
