At Kehilat Hadar, we believe that meaningful davening (prayer) experiences and learning opportunities should be available to all, and we do not charge membership fees or sell tickets for High Holiday services. However, Kehilat Hadar relies on your donation to maintain high quality davening and programming in our community. Kehilat Hadar has an annual budget of approximately $165,000. This includes the following costs:
- $250 for a Beit Midrash class
- $1400 for a Shabbat morning service
- $1800 for a Lunch and Learn
Each year at this time, we appeal to the community for financial support. We ask for a tax-deductible contribution of *$250* per adult, or *$180* per student. If you are able, please consider donating at an increased level of $500, or another amount of your choice.
This year, you will have the option of setting up a recurring monthly payment on Paypal. For example, consider a gift of $21 per month for 12 months, amounting to a $252 annual contribution.
You can make your donation in one of three easy ways:
(1) send in a one-time payment by check,
(2) make a one-time payment using your credit card on Paypal, or
(3) set up a recurring monthly payment using your credit card on PayPal
We ask that you make your donation as part of the High Holidays registration process, or, if you are not planning to join us for the the High Holidays, please make your annual, tax-deductible contribution at this time.
Also, please forward this email to friends or family members who you think may be interested in supporting Kehilat Hadar.
Sign-up for Kehilat Hadar's High Holiday services will be available on our website around August 9, and we expect space to fill up quickly. We will send out an email notification when signup becomes available. Find out more about about 2010/5771 High Holiday services with Kehilat Hadar.

P.S. Kehilat Hadar and Mechon Hadar, the spin-off of Kehilat Hadar that runs Yeshivat Hadar, America's first egalitarian yeshiva, share the same guiding vision of an egalitarian community that can revitalize Jewish communal life. We encourage your support of both organizations, each with their own funding and leadership structure.
