April 5 at approximately 12:30 PM, immediately following Shabbat morning services, we will have a festive catered lunch for the community, followed by a learning session. Location: Solomon Schechter School of Manhattan, 805 Columbus on 100th Street.

On Parshat Tazria/Metzora 5761 (corresponding to April 28, 2001), Kehilat Hadar met for the very first time. Now 12 Shavout Retreats, over 500 Davenings and roughly 7,000 Aliyot later, Kehilat Hadar is excited to celebrate its Bat Mitzvah Anniversary! Shabbat Metzorah will not only celebrate our Kehila's Bat Mitzvah but will also kick-off a special year of programming, learning and social justice initiatives.

Please join us for a very special davening, followed by a festive catered lunch on Saturday, April 5th (Parshat Metzora). Additionally, following lunch, Adam Levine will teach a session entitled "Is a Weasel a Prophet? Humor in the Talmud." Adam has been part of the Hadar community since 2005. He served as a gabbai and a shamash from 2006-2010 and studied Talmud at Yeshivat Hadar during its inaugural summer. Adam is currently an assistant professor of mathematics at Princeton University.

We hope you'll join us for the celebration!
