Celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut With Kehilat Hadar & The Sephardi Center, Sunday May 4 at 5 PM
As part of the Upper West Side Yom HaAtzmaut celebration this year, Kehilat Hadar and The Sephardi Center are sponsoring a program entitled “A Taste of History: The Culinary Blending of Sephardi and Ashkenazi Traditions.” Chef Shaya Klechevsky will present a culinary demo of modern Israeli foods that take inspiration from both Ashkenazi and Sephardi culture. Come enjoy delicious food and unique Sephardic liquors -- plus get a swag bag of goodies to take home!
Join us on Sunday, May 4 from 5-7 PM, at Solomon Schechter School of Manhattan. For more information about this program, visit the JCC website. To learn more about the entire schedule of UWS programs for Yom HaAtzmaut, visit uwsISRAEL.org.
