Food for Thought Kiddush-Time Shiur

June 25, 2016 - 12:00pm

Solomon Schechter School of Manhattan, at 805 Columbus Ave at 100th

Join us for a shiur taught by Tim Bernard during the end of kiddush. Judaism’s primary prayer is more often referred to by how you arrange your body to recite it, than by anything to do with its words. This class will investigate the body languages of the Amidah -- standing, stepping, bending, jumping and swaying. This brief shiur will overlap the end of kiddush, so there'll be plenty of time to nosh, chat, learn, and still make it to lunch on time.
