Shiur Description: The Golden Calf and Original Sin: Losing Eden Again: We have seen this moment before: communion with God shortly followed by devastating sin and Divine anger. In this shiur we will explore parallels and differences between chet ha'egel and Gan Eden and try to discover what went differently--and why--during what might be termed the second fall.
